I’ve lived in Hawaii long enough that I am now able to recognize the subtle change in seasons. (I admit, the first couple of years, I really couldn’t tell much difference.) And, although there isn’t the drastic vision of a tulip emerging from the cold ground as a sign of spring on it’s way, that idea of spring flowers still seems to be a ‘March’ image in my mind. SO…. I just had to use these flowers for March!
These are from the Garden in Bloom stamp set. It’s a 2 step set, so it is super easy to get the insides and outsides of the flower 2 different colors.
And, that little stapler will continue to be one of my most favorite tools. It’s perfect for attaching the banner punch out here… And spring always makes people ‘happy happy’!
Anne and Cheryl have some exciting things for you today!
I love this little bee!! It has such a cheery smile… so it was a MUST for this February Post.
The stamps are from the Honeycomb Hello stamp set. The little polka dot hexagon background adds the perfect amount of texture and color to the page… And, of course, you cannot forget the bling in the heart punch-out…

I LOVE WREATHS. Especially fresh ones. Except where we live, we can’t buy it very early cause it won’t last long… And, even fake ones take a beating on my front door (it gets direct sun for much of the day). BUT… not ones on PAPER!! This Wondrous Wreath stamp set is SO much fun to work with!!
And, with the photopolymer stamps, it is SO easy to line up the layers of the wreath to make the different colored leaves and berries! Lots of fun to make!
Happy Christmas Decorating to you! Hope you are able to spread cheer wherever you go. And, have a Happy WONDERFUL Christmas!

I love banners. I love making them… I love stamping them… They are so festive. So, for August, and the ‘title page’ to the calendar, I decided to make a little banner… This uses the Perfect Pennants Stamp Set (the ‘you made my day’ image) and Banner Blast (now retired, so sad…)… But, these little banners are so fast and fun…
And, I love the Smokey Slate color with the pastels used on the banner. Makes you think of calm, cool, and breezy in a month that could be very warm. Helping you to have your own mini vacay… even if it is just for a moment in your imagination.

Hello MARCH! What a glorious little birdie to welcome March!
These stamp are all from a hostess stamp set called “Hello Love”. It’s one of my favorites. And, for those of you buried in snow, it’s a good little reminder that spring is on it’s way. Here on Maui, we had a bout of winter weather today. Our winter weather. (It rained all day). I do love Maui winters.

Welcome Back!! And, Happy Back to school. It is AUGUST! Where has the summer gone??
Well, with this month I’m particularly happy about because it features one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE stamp sets. TAPE IT. It’s a stamp set that looks like WASHI TAPE. Be still my heart. I”m still a bit of a newbie when it comes to the uses of washi tape, but it is becoming one of my all time favorites…. ANYWAY, having the stamp set allows you to do more things… you can stamp over text, etc… and make it in any color.
Hope you Enjoy August. And, peek on by Anne and Cheryl’s blogs to see what goodies they have for you!
Welcome to June!!
Boy, Half of 2014 is gone… But, for me, June embodies the gloriousness of summer. The final school bell sounded this past week and we are looking forward to all the laziness (yeah, right… I just had twins) that summer can bring. Well, we can dream about it anyway…
For this installment if the easel calendar, I used the Best of Shelli stamp set. It had this nice bird and flower stamp. Super easy to use and very elegant. I used the Primrose Petals ink and paper for it and the bird is stamped in Baked Brown Sugar.
I hope you can take some time to enjoy summer as well. You can start by heading over to see what Anne and Cheryl have for you:
